2018 Election Information

The 2018 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

Important Dates:

October 15 – General Election Ballots Mailed to Voters
General Election ballots will be mailed beginning October 15 to active registered voters in Arapahoe County. Please allow time for your ballot to arrive. If you do not receive your ballot by October 22, please call 303-795-4511 to request a replacement ballot, or visit www.GoVoteColorado.com to update your address on your voter registration, and a ballot will automatically be mailed to you.

October 22 – Voter Service and Polling Centers Open
Twelve Voter Service and Polling Centers will open for early voting on Oct. 22. An additional 16 locations will open Nov. 3. All locations remain open through Election Day. Arapahoe County

Eligible Arapahoe County voters may visit any one of the Voter Service and Polling Centers to:

  • Drop-off a voted mail-in ballot
  • Register to vote in-person
  • Update voter registration
  • Replace a damaged mail ballot
  • Request a ballot
  • Vote on an accessible electronic tablet

There are no assigned polling places.

October 29 – Last Day to Register to Vote In Order to Receive Ballot by Mail
The last day to register to vote online, by mail, through a voter registration agency or at a driver’s license office and receive a mail ballot for the 2018 General Election is Monday, October 29. After this date, those eligible to vote who wish to register to vote and get a ballot should visit a Voter Service and Polling Center.

October 31 – Last Day to Mail Back Your Ballot
The Postal Service recommends returning your mail ballot by Wednesday, October 31 in order to ensure that it arrives in time.

Return your ballot with paid postage, or deliver it to one of the ballot box locations.

Ballots must be received by Arapahoe County by Election Day, Tuesday, November 6 to be counted. Postmarks do not count as received.

November 6 – Election Day
General Election Day is November 6. All Voter Service and Polling Centers in Arapahoe County will be open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Ballot drop-off locations also will be open until 7 p.m.
